In a nutshell: The Heavenly Dao is fake. Someone swapped it out three thousand years ago. Every cultivator’s cultivation has been feeding the thief. A low-level grave robber stumbles into the “Heavenly Tomb” and discovers that the so-called Heavenly Dao is actually a grave. He steals a fragment of the true Heavenly Dao from it, setting out on a path unlike any before: entering the Dao through grave-robbing, and stealing from Heaven to change the world.
