I Just Want the Right Crowd to Favor Me, I Never Meant to Become a Star

Su Nian'an, a third-year drama student with no great ambitions who just wants to lie flat, runs into Xie Jinglan, the young heir of Xingyao Entertainment, while accompanying her best friend to an interview.

At first glance, Su Nian'an is completely won over by Xie Jinglan’s stunning looks and presence. Her inner monologue: “A boss this handsome? I wouldn’t even mind if he used the casting couch on me!”

And so she makes a bold vow: she’ll get into Xingyao Entertainment, and she’ll get Xie Jinglan to use the casting couch on her!

Through one hilarious encounter after another, Su Nian'an transforms from “a layabout who just wants to be propositioned” into “an actor with talent and ambition,” while Xie Jinglan gradually finds himself drawn to this girl with her “unconventional way of thinking,” moving on from his initial “cold iceberg” persona.

By the time Su Nian'an finally becomes a top-tier star and stands under the spotlights with a trophy in hand, she realizes belatedly: Xie Jinglan, what happened to that casting couch you promised me?
