The Hands-Off Chongzhen: I Wanted to Bring Down the Dynasty, but Built a Golden Age

[Dual-transmigration System + a slacker emperor + everyone overinterprets things + reverse the fall of a nation + dimensional superiority] He transmigrated as Chongzhen of the late Ming, with Li Zicheng's army at the gates and the fall of the dynasty imminent! Zhu Shou immediately awakened the Slacker System: as long as he acted like a corrupt emperor, lying flat and doing nothing, he could claim modern supplies and extend his lifespan. Once the Ming fell, he could take his fortune of ten billion back to modern times and enjoy life! Zhu Shou promptly lay flat and did whatever he pleased: skipping court, neglecting his duties, and slacking off and enjoying himself every day, all while waiting for the Ming to fall so he could make his escape! But the more he slacked off, the more wildly his ministers overinterpreted everything! He skipped court? The officials assumed the emperor was farsighted and ruling through noninterference! He squandered the treasury's silver? The ministers suddenly realized he was promoting maritime trade and earning money all over the world! He casually sketched a little gadget? The Ministry of Works immediately recreated the cutting-edge technology and made firearms that swept away foreign enemies on every front! The foreign enemies were crushed, the rebels fled overseas to grow potatoes, and Dorgon became a mine laborer. The Ming kept expanding until it had somehow become an empire on which the sun never set! Meanwhile, the transmigrated villain tasked with bringing about the Ming's downfall completely lost it! He desperately sabotaged things, stirred up rebellions, and opened the city gates, but after all that effort, nothing worked! He could only watch as the Ming, which should have fallen, grew stronger and stronger, pushing its borders all the way to Europe! Freshly awakened on the dragon throne, Zhu Shou stared in bafflement. “I just wanted to be a corrupt emperor, bring about the fall of the dynasty early, and go home. How did I somehow become an emperor for the ages?!”
