Siheyuan: Yi Zhonghai Wants Me to Take Her Off His Hands, but I Refuse

Zhao Daqiang is transported into 1953, into the beastly courtyard house, and takes over his father's job as a fitter at the steel rolling mill. Yi Zhonghai sets him up with a woman, and the matchmaker brings over the village beauty from Qin Village. He looks her over: she's seventeen or eighteen, with a full chest, delicate features, and a graceful figure. But Qin Huairu's face shows no trace of girlish innocence, only mature allure. He recalls Yi Zhonghai spending a month eating and staying in Qin Village, then gives a cold laugh and pulls out his quotations booklet, saying the country hasn't yet found its footing and he can think about marriage later. The matchmaker grabs Qin Huairu and turns to leave. She lowers her head, her fingers clenched until they turn white, anger burning fiercely inside her. Back then, she'd climbed into Yi Zhonghai's bed, but the man refused to leave her no matter what.
