Lin Chen, an outer disciple of Qingyun Sect, was once a swordsmanship prodigy unseen in a thousand years at Taixu Immortal Sect. Betrayed by his closest friend and the woman he loved, he had his spiritual root destroyed and all his cultivation stripped away, falling into the mortal world. He endured the humiliation in silence, until he unexpectedly awakened a Chaos Sword Seed within his body in his darkest hour and recovered the memories of his previous life. From then on, with the body of a good-for-nothing, he cultivates ancient swordsmanship and forges an undying sword body, fighting his way step by step from a lowly sect disciple back to the pinnacle of the immortal path.
