Great Ming: The Blood-Spitting Prince Poisons Northern Yuan from the Start

In the early Hongwu era, the northern frontier battlefield is a place where death is all but certain. Transmigrated into a condemned prisoner camp as a frail laborer who could cough up blood and drop dead at any moment, Zhu Ji calmly pulls out a jar of “golden juice poison.” Facing thirty thousand Northern Yuan cavalry, he uses modern psychology and homemade biological warfare to sow discord among the enemy ranks, poisoning all thirty thousand in a single battle! His sinister, bloodless methods leave General Xu Da’s scalp tingling. Just as Xu Da is about to drag this “mad poison strategist” back to the capital for questioning, Empress Ma sees the birthmark on the boy and bursts into tears. “Chongba! He’s our eldest legitimate son, the one who starved to death on the road when we fled the famine!” Overnight, the Ming dynasty’s most sinister, deranged condemned prisoner becomes its most honored legitimate eldest prince! The emperor dotes on him, the empress spoils him, and Crown Prince Zhu Biao turns into the ultimate doting older brother! But as soon as Zhu Ji returns to the palace, Zhu Yuanzhang decrees that he marry Xu Miaoyun, Xu Da’s eldest daughter. Coughing blood, Zhu Ji flips the table. “I won’t marry her! I’m as good as dead, so why would I marry the future Princess of Yan? Fourth Brother, you can have your wife back!” Xu Da is furious. “My daughter isn’t good enough for a sickly wreck like you?!” Zhu Yuanzhang panics. “You unfilial brat! Refuse this marriage, and I’ll break your legs!” Empress Ma glares at him. “Zhu Chongba, just try laying a finger on my son!” The entire court despairs: This frail madman can poison entire cities abroad and has his whole family backing him at home. Who would dare mess with him?!
