Synopsis

The gods initiate a selection, and Luo Yan, a second-year medical student, is trapped in a classroom surrounded by a gray barrier. Along with 180 classmates, he is thrown into a deadly solo survival trial. Monsters keep coming, and the rules are cruel and cold: the longer you survive, the later you return to the classroom.

When Luo Yan opens the classroom door as the last person in his class to return, only 43 of the 180 students are still alive. On the surface, he is gentle and modest, a reliable and level-headed medical student leader in everyone's eyes. But when he uses a bowel clamp to put an end to a classmate infected by spores, no one notices the calculation that flashes through his eyes. That strike doesn't just save someone else; it also gives him leverage to survive this game.

A refined egoist never pretends to be virtuous. He simply calculates every step down to the last detail. His clinical medical knowledge becomes his sharpest weapon: anatomy helps him find monsters' weak points, pathology helps him control the spread of infection, and pharmacology lets him make simple poisons. When the barrier changes again and the campus becomes a death trap, Luo Yan must repeatedly swing between trust and betrayal, rescue and abandonment.

"The world needs anesthesiologists, because being conscious is too painful."

And he chooses to stay conscious to the very end, until he takes his place among the gods.

Infinite-flow dungeon stories with a highly intelligent female lead. No brainless romance, no huge golden fingers, no stupid female leads, and no saintly do-gooders. Aaaah, I can't find anything lately! Everything I come across has a female lead who relies on her looks and is obsessed with romance. I just want to read about someone smart m(._.)m
