[Magic Academy + Troublemaker Crew + Eight Top Schools + Large Ensemble Cast + Not Western Fantasy + Over-the-Top Passion + Ridiculous, Absurd Comedy + Mostly Everyday Life + Romance]
Content warnings:
1. Set in a fictional society, with over-the-top, brainless antics. It’s an Eastern-style magic academy with a goofy, comic-strip feel and plenty of absurd humor. (If that bothers you, don’t read.)
2. This is not a completely feel-good power fantasy. The main cast aren’t perfect; nobody is. Everyone has a pretty weird personality, so there’s no such thing as acting out of character. Some members of the group grow over time; they aren’t invincible from the moment they appear. Please don’t judge the characters by your own values.
3. The protagonists are just ordinary people who can use magic. Everyone at Sweet Potato High is a protagonist.
4. There are couples, but romance doesn’t take up much of the story. All the worldbuilding serves the plot, and the author has the final say.

“You Sweet Potato High people are all crazy!”
Every student in Class 1, Year 3, at Sweet Potato High is a slacker.
Class monitor Long Que leads the troublemaking and openly defies authority.
Shi Jiana loves stirring up trouble, playing the drama queen, and riling people up before defying authority.
Ao Qi is a wild, unruly, low-performing student who does whatever she wants and defies authority at every turn.
Zao Zao’en is a troublemaker who loves talking back and has a sharp tongue.
Baili is shrewd, loaded, and openly defiant, looking down on everyone.
Tan Yi is ruthless, quiet, and deviously defiant behind the scenes.
Head of Discipline: “Class 1, Year 3, is the worst class I’ve ever taught!”
One second, the “troublemaker crew” is united against an outside enemy; the next, they’re squabbling among themselves.
The villain stands there stunned. “Excuse me? Do you even remember I’m here?”

A very nice group portrait, each character has a unique personality, the setting is interesting, and super hot-blooded
