Southern Song: You Were Told to Save Yue Fei, Not Unite the Realm

I transmigrated into Wang Zuo, a strategist serving Yue Fei, with just one mission: keep Marshal Yue safe.

At Xiaoshang River, Yang Zaixing is surrounded? One signal arrow, and hidden troops spring into action.

At Niutoushan, Gao Chong spears the iron-tipped war chariots? Set up an interception net in advance and block their dangerous route.

Qin Hui is secretly scheming against us? I’ll make my moves in court ahead of time and ensure every one of his plans falls through.

The Jin iron pagoda troops are unstoppable? I’ll use hemp-knife infantry to break their linked formation and counter their cavalry on foot.

The Guizi cavalry strikes like the wind? I’ll have the Yue Family Army’s cavalry give them a taste of their own medicine and keep their flanks firmly pinned down.

Once the hard-fought battles were over, Marshal Yue pointed at the map and asked me:

"My good brother, what should we do with all the land that’s left?"

Me: "...I only wanted to save you. I never asked you to take on such a huge mess!"
