At noon on the longest day of the year, Flame Hashira Kyojuro Rengoku found a mysterious baby in the sunlit mountains while out on patrol.
A golden divine sigil appeared in the baby's palm, revealing the name bestowed by the gods: Amaterasu Yozhen.
He was the child of the sun, born blessed by its light. He made astonishing progress in a single day of training and had an almost instinctive affinity for Sun Breathing. Raised by Kyojuro from childhood, he learned Flame Breathing and grew up alongside the Butterfly Mansion girl Kanao Tsuyuri.
But Yozhen was no transmigrator, and he knew nothing of the fate awaiting him. With nothing but his own sword and his own heart, he changed regrets that should have been impossible to undo, time and again, through a series of fortunate coincidences amid life-and-death struggles.
Aboard the Mugen Train, he was willing to shield others from the demon beneath the moon. During a long night at the Butterfly Mansion, when Kanao was gravely wounded and near death, he learned fear for the first time and awakened the Moon's Blessing in his despair.
From then on, the child of the sun no longer belonged to daylight alone.
He was the child of both sun and moon.
He slays demons by day and protects people through the long night.
This time, the Flame Hashira won't burn out alone, the butterfly won't wither in the cold night, and the Love Hashira's blade will fight alongside him to cut through the thousand-year darkness of Muzan's rule.
Can Kanae be resurrected later? Turns out he's still alive
