You Were Supposed to Heal People, So Why Did You Turn Them into Superheroes?

Lin Yang transmigrates to a parallel world and becomes a “mad scientist.” To cure cancer, he's even willing to develop a zombie virus!

One day, during a livestream, he shakes a bottle of blue medicine. “As everyone knows, kidney stones are the hidden killer of modern people. This is my latest miracle cure. No surgery needed: take it, and you'll be cured. It does have one minor side effect.”

Livestream comments:

“Holy crap! Removing kidney stones without surgery? A medical miracle!”

“I've been suffering from kidney stones for three years. As long as it stops the pain, who cares about a minor side effect!”

“The streamer is a living bodhisattva. This is what a true scientist working for the good of humanity looks like!”

But when a man with severe kidney stones downs the medicine in one gulp,

His belly suddenly glows with golden light, and the stones inside him slowly compress into a “golden core”! Then the man grabs a stainless-steel pipe and bites down, chewing until sparks fly!

At that moment, the entire internet is dumbfounded:

“Are those kidney stones or a golden core? And you call that a minor side effect?”

“Um... maybe a little kidney pain isn't so bad. At least you don't mutate and start eating building materials.”

“Doctor: You need more iron. Streamer: Got it, I'll have him chew on a security door!”

Later on

He treats glaucoma, but the patient cultivates “double pupils.”

He treats heart disease, but the patient's heartbeat shakes heaven and earth, becoming an Emperor Engine.

Treating a patient with schizophrenia, Lin Yang exclaims, “This one's got the makings of a master who can split into three incarnations!”

The whole internet cries out: “He's not doing research, he's cultivating immortality through biochemistry!”
