Chen Huai had planned to quietly complete the three-year mourning period and inherit his master Chen Daoxuan's run-down funeral home.
But who could have guessed that, in the middle of the night, a zombie would rise inside the funeral home, a figure in red would appear, and a crowd of corpses would dance? The curtain was slowly lifting on the worlds of the living and the dead!
A bizarre scroll made of human skin, a mysterious and uncanny Taoist priest, a locust tree hung with human heads, Tai Sui meat that spoke, fox spirits that devoured vital energy, strange Lu Ban crafts... It all seemed destined, drawing Chen Huai ever closer!
With lightning-struck wood in hand and the road between Yin and Yang beneath his feet, Chen Huai wields the Five Elements of Heaven and Earth and seeks answers from this world!
“Since demons and evil spirits run rampant in this world, I'll start with a peachwood sword and fight my way to a brighter world!”
