This is a palace-intrigue story about an eighteen-year-old empress. All the consorts besides the heroine meet tragic ends as victims of palace intrigue, and not every NPC is guaranteed to appear. The heroine is effectively the player character, maxed out with an invincibility buff. It’s pure wish fulfillment, with the heroine as a palace surveillance camera. She’s also rather cold and detached, and not very human.
There will be a few male supporting characters, but not many. The focus is mainly on palace-intrigue events.
