There Is No Sutra in the Pure Altar

Zhu Bajie knew that the real Sun Wukong had been killed by Tathagata long ago, and that the six-eared macaque accompanied Monk Tang on his journey to the west. He also knew that his so-called "molesting Chang'e" was a frame-up, and that the entire journey to the west was a ceremony in which Heaven and Lingshan conspired to rewrite the order of the three realms. In order to retrieve the truth left behind by Chang'e, and to prevent the dead Monkey King from being completely erased, he pretended to be a clown who was greedy for life and afraid of death and walked to Lingshan, but in the end he found that what he got was not a scripture, but a reward that silenced everyone.
