After dying from a drunken hangover, Ye Wentian transmigrates into the body of a foolish Wei emperor. The moment he wakes, a wicked concubine is forcing him to sign a treaty surrendering territory and arranging a marriage alliance! He slaps her away and declares, “No marriage alliances, no ceding territory!” Just then, Su Xinzhai, the world's foremost female sect leader, comes to his rescue, and the imperial guard commander swears to follow him to the death. The foolish emperor of old transforms into an iron-blooded ruler, executing treacherous ministers, quelling rebellions, and manufacturing guns and cannons. Along the way, he wins over the aloof female sect leader and makes her his empress, setting off on a path to rise above the chaos!
