Dawn in the Wilderness

[Western Fantasy + Infrastructure Building + Farming + Lordship]

After dying suddenly from working overtime until the early hours, Chen Xi transmigrates to another world.

No, that’s not quite right. A young man who calls himself an envoy of the Alliance tells him that a world is being swallowed by the Abyss. If it falls, Earth will be next.

Then he is dumped in a mountain village.

All he can remember is that his name is Chen Xi and that he wears an unidentified metal tag around his neck. The body belongs to someone else, and his memories are blank. Everyone in the village knows him, but he doesn’t know any of them.

He doesn’t know when the Abyss will come, why he was chosen, or what the tag is for.

A voice in his heart tells him he was supposed to be here all along.

He has to figure it all out. He has to find the answers before the Abyss crawls to his feet.
