In 1938, Liuhe Village disappeared.
Seventeen-year-old Zhou Yuan crawled out from under the corpse and heard a voice in his head.
"I am the Queen Mother. Only if you live can I exist."
With these "invisible eyes", he walked into the guerrillas in the Taihang Mountains.
There are no golden fingers, no seconds. There were only a group of people who gritted their teeth and survived in the darkness, and a boy who didn't even understand who he was.

After reading the first sixteen chapters, the biggest feeling I felt was "sinking". It's not dull, it's the kind of dullness that makes people climb out of a corpse pit and walk westward, limping but not stopping. Zhou Yuan barely spoke. His mother reported the data, Lao Zhao said, "There are no bullet holes... That's weird," the company commander picked up sweet potatoes, and the instructor said, "I'm not afraid of being a fool." Everyone was doing very important things with very few words. What surprised me the most was the Queen Mother. It starts from "detecting the host's vital signs", coldly, like an artificial intelligence. But by Chapter 16, it's already asking "How do you feel?" It's not sensational, it's really learning. A symbiote is learning to care for its host, and a host is learning to survive. This feeling of "two silent things approaching each other" is more moving than any blood.
