The Merchant Detective

All stories in this book are fictional. Any resemblance to actual events is purely coincidental. Chen Yin, 42, is a former investigator for the China Securities Regulatory Commission. After insisting on investigating a case involving a powerful figure, he was framed and forced to resign. He founded Clearstream Business Consulting, which appears to provide compliance services to companies but is actually a private commercial detective agency. He specializes in data tracking, financial analysis, and behavioral psychology, and lives by the principle: “Capital is inherently tainted, but the truth is priceless.”
