Chen Mo is the most ordinary food-delivery rider in Jiangcheng. His mother is seriously ill, debts weigh him down, and he can barely afford the rent.
Then one night, he receives an errand order worth 888 yuan.
Delivery address: an abandoned funeral home in the west of the city.
Note: Please deliver a birthday cake to my daughter before midnight.
But when Chen Mo arrives, he discovers that the seven-year-old girl died three years ago.
From that night on, an app appears on his phone, and he can’t uninstall it.
[Underworld order delivered.]
[Late penalty: Lose three years of lifespan.]
[Completion rewards: Cash, underworld merit, the lingering obsession of the dead.]
Other delivery riders need good reviews. Chen Mo needs to stay alive while delivering orders from the underworld.
And the last delivery his father made before he died was the same kind of order.
