Demon Slayer: Starting with Shinobu Kocho’s Runaway Wedding

A lightning strike sends overworked office worker Chu Feng transmigrating into the brutal world of Demon Slayer. The moment he opens his eyes, he finds himself face-to-face with the Insect Hashira, Shinobu Kocho, whose stunning face wears a faint smile that conceals a deep sadness. Even more shocking, his new body’s entire family was wiped out by the “Lightning Demon,” and he and Shinobu are bound by an engagement arranged by their families when they were children.

With the wedding fast approaching, Shinobu, consumed by her desire for revenge and unwilling to drag anyone else down with her, decides to run away from the marriage again. Chu Feng likewise refuses to hide behind a woman, so he resolutely leaves her a letter and departs. Armed with a special physique tempered by the thunderbolt that brought him here, he boards the Mugen Train, determined to follow the main characters’ path and hone his sword skills in battles where life and death hang in the balance.
