A cold, powerful tycoon × a seemingly frail but resilient young master
A fated bond, two lives entangled.
Seven-year-old Gu Yanshen is sent to the Ye family. He is as quiet as the air, yet five-year-old Ye Youming remembers him at first sight. From that day on, their fates begin to intertwine.
Ye Youming gathers his courage and reaches out to him. “Will you be my big brother?”
For the first time, Gu Yanshen is needed by someone.
Ye Linyuan and Zhang Muqing dote on their only son and indulge Gu Yanshen’s special care for him.
When Ye Youming hears Gu Yanshen say, “I’m leaving the Ye family,” he misunderstands and thinks Gu Yanshen is going to abandon him.
Ye Youming runs out into the rain and collapses from illness, repeatedly calling Gu Yanshen’s name.
When Ye Youming falls ill, Gu Yanshen stays by his side all night. For the first time, he loses control and tells Ye Linyuan, “I won’t leave him.”
In the end, they appear side by side on the cover of a financial magazine, beneath the headline:
“The Ye Family’s Two Stars: Light and Abyss.”
The camera pulls back. Ye Youming falls asleep against Gu Yanshen’s shoulder, and Gu Yanshen gently covers him with a blanket.
“Ye Youming, we have a long life ahead of us. I look forward to it.”
“Gu Yanshen, you too.”
I don’t know what happened with the tags. I remember setting different ones originally. This story is about an older man and a younger man, and it’s set in a wealthy family. Just ignore the younger-man tag; the other tags are fine.
