No CP + strong female lead, focused on work from beginning to end, with no romance arcs for anyone. No fighting or killing, so fans of traditional power fantasies may want to give this one a miss!
[Strong female lead + infrastructure building + transmigrate + Western fantasy + lighthearted]
After working overtime for 72 hours straight, overworked office worker Tang Li dropped dead on top of the blueprints she was reviewing.
When she opened her eyes again, she had become the new Demon King of the demon realm.
Other Demon Kings: destroy the world, conquer the three realms, kill heroes and steal princesses.
Tang Li as Demon King: hold meetings, draw blueprints, pave roads, build schools, and pay employees overtime.
The old nobility cuts off the mines to force her to compromise? She takes them back outright and issues a new crystal currency to crush inflation!
A human hero raises his sword to attack? Put him in charge of infrastructure security. He’ll be far more useful than on the battlefield!
The heavenly realm claims her efficiency is too high and upsets the balance?
At a hearing attended by all three realms, she produces a spreadsheet and leaves the heavenly realm speechless with the numbers:
“Trust is 3.1 times more effective than fear at changing people’s behavior. If your balance depends on fear to hold it together, then that balance deserves to be overturned.”
Tang Li: “The most beautiful blessing in the world is an early retirement!”
Later, the demon realm’s streetlights were shining, its roads were open, its children could go to school, and its elderly could enjoy their retirement.
Looking at the drawer full of engineering blueprints, Tang Li silently pushed her retirement plan back by a hundred years.
