(If you like scat, come give my first book a try, hahaha. If that's your thing, feel free to test it out. I'm still learning and taking things in, getting ready to write my second book. I'll work hard and strive for the literary heights!)
The day the game merged with reality, Lin Shen was having his severance pay cut by HR in the name of “the greater good.”
The next second, a global announcement went out: All humans would be forced to awaken a class. Others awakened skills like Flame Storm and Thunder Strike, but he awakened [King of Passives]. He was the only player on the server unable to actively use any skill.
Others fought monsters with waves of fireballs and ice arrows. He fought by standing still and waiting for monsters to poison, burn, freeze, shock, or damage themselves to death. A monster hit him for -5; his passive healing restored +50. They could attack him for a year and still not kill him. Others mocked him as “the pig-squealing guy,” because his only “active” skill was a passive charge that came with a pig's squeal.
“I don't need skills. Every one of my passives is a bug in this world!!!!”
Then he stood at the Altar of Vanity, where 1,200 challengers took turns attacking him, yet not one could take away even a tenth of his health. Then he entered the Void Rift alone and shouldered an immense force to seal the world's rift. Then he went blind in his right eye, awakened his left, and became the only administrator on the server.
No one knew that the seventh module of the Abyss lived in his right eye. No one knew that his father had paid a price of twenty years for it. And no one knew that this “useless talent” was the last key the Creator had left him to rewrite the world's rules.
Very watery, really watery
