Maybe it's because I watched the drama and read the original novel. I always felt that the characters were OOC and very different. They lacked Wang's darkness, Guo's caution, Chi's domineering possessiveness, Wu's cleverness and stinginess, and Guo's easy acceptance of Chi's transformation. But the writing is very sweet and beautiful. More to come.
