Pokemon Apocalypse: From the Start, I Devolve into Dreepy

Lu Chen had died once. When he woke, he had become a Dreepy in a global survival dungeon, a devolved form with barely a tenth of its former strength.

The dungeon world plays by no rules: gather resources by day, hold off the Black Tide at night. The Tower of the End has 100 floors, and anyone who can’t climb to the top is trapped forever.

His Trainer is a taciturn high school student, as quiet as a shadow.

But whenever he looks back, that shadow is standing behind him.

From Dreepy to Dragapult, from the ruins to the top of the tower,

what he regains is more than just his strength.

“What were you before?”

“Doesn’t matter.”

“Then what are you now?”

Lu Chen floats in midair, his deep-blue dragon eyes fixed on the Black Tide surging in the distance. Two little Dreepy circle overhead.

“Now, I’m your Pokemon.”
