Synopsis

[Urban slice of life + male-oriented + multiple heroines + underdog comeback] Discharged soldier Chen Yu arrives in Dongguan penniless and moves into the rental home of Sun Xue, his widowed landlady. There, he meets her best friend Ye Lan, nightlife worker A Zhen, Sun Xue's younger sister Lin Xiaoxi, and reporter Fang Xiaorou. Five women, five romances. From a rock-bottom migrant worker to a successful entrepreneur, Chen Yu's road to a comeback is filled with passion, tears, and tangled love and hate. This is his story, and a portrait of Dongguan's migrant workers.
