At the end of Shattered Star River stands a palace of ice that has never melted in ten thousand years: the Nine Heavens Snow Palace.
Bing Lixue, princess of the Profound Ice Clan, froze the demon army single-handedly. Afterward, she and her people were trapped by humanity on this desolate ice field for a thousand years.
A thousand years frozen in ice. A thousand years alone.
Until a man named Mo Xuandu walked through the wind and snow and broke, with a flick of his finger, the formation that had imprisoned the Profound Ice Clan for a thousand years.
Three marks lie within him, from Shattered Star River, the Southern Wilderness Fire Domain, and the Nine Nether Yellow Springs.
He is the one and only Chaos Physique throughout the ages, the person in the prophecy whose fate will be entangled with the Profound Ice Clan for a thousand years.
Yet the day the Chaos Physique appears is also the day catastrophe descends. Beneath the abyss, the power of nothingness sealed away since the Primordial Era is awakening. It will devour everything, destroy everything, and return the world to nothingness.
Bing Lixue is a princess of the Profound Ice Clan betrayed by fate. Mo Xuandu is a Chaos Physique with an unknown past.
From mutual wariness to fighting side by side, from the first thaw of ice and snow to pledging their lives to each other, they must gather the four primordial powers before catastrophe strikes, awaken the slumbering Primordial Clan Leader, unite the strength of the four clans, and face the final battle that will decide whether the world survives.
A thousand years frozen in ice will one day thaw.
A dark, mysterious light will carry them through every tribulation.
