"Red Blade Black Water"
In 1937, the July 7th Incident broke out, and the Japanese invaders invaded the Blackwater Basin in the Northeast. Firefights broke out along the Songhua River, and the people along the river were trapped in hell.
Xiao Lie, the leader of the Songhua River boat gang who has been sailing for generations, suffered the massacre of his relatives and brothers by the Japanese invaders. The dock was burned down and the boats were robbed. With a blood feud in mind, he resolutely abandoned business to fight against the Japanese, gathered the surviving boat people and defended his homeland with swords and guns.
Nicknamed "Blackwater Eagle", he is proficient in water ambush and wetland sneaking. He is familiar with every inch of Blackwater's waterway terrain and leads his brothers to rely on the water network and wetlands to launch a desperate resistance against the enemy. From small-scale water guerrillas to establishing secret anti-Japanese camps, cutting off the Japanese aggressors' water transportation lines, punishing traitor lackeys, and fighting to the death with the insidious and violent Japanese Osaka Watanabe.
Jiang Xuezhu, the underground party liaison officer, lurked to help, sending information and rescuing the wounded, becoming his most solid backing. From taking revenge alone to forming the Blackwater Anti-Japanese Allied Forces, he also linked up with the White Mountain and Black Soil anti-Japanese teams to jointly defend against powerful enemies.
After eight years of bloody battles, in 1945 during the counterattack of the Anti-Japanese War, Xiao Lie personally killed his old enemy Watanabe Ou and eliminated the Japanese invaders along the river. With loyalty and blood, he protected the devastated Blackwater homeland and wrote the immortal song of the Northeastern people's passionate resistance to Japan!
