Great Ming: The Gods Pass Judgment, and Zhu Yunwen Breaks Down

In the twenty-fifth year of Hongwu, Crown Prince Zhu Yunwen sought to establish his authority. He colluded with corrupt officials to frame Lin Chen, a commoner who had stood up for what was right, as a rebel.

In the great hall, Zhu Yuanzhang knew Lin Chen was innocent. But to pave the way for his grandson and secure the empire, he coldly issued an order: “The rabble are in revolt. Kill them all!”

At the execution grounds, the blade hung overhead, while the people of the city seethed with anger but dared not speak.

Heartbroken and disillusioned, Lin Chen awakened the [God of Wealth Calamity System]. In front of Zhu Yunwen and all the officials of the court, he pronounced three blood curses:

“First curse upon the Great Ming: snow shall fall in the sixth month, and heaven and earth shall mourn together!”

“Second curse upon the Great Ming: locusts shall darken the skies, and the land shall be strewn with the dead!”

“Third curse upon the Great Ming: princes shall die violent deaths, and the imperial line shall be cut off!”

As soon as the words left his mouth, it was the sixth month of midsummer, yet heavy snow blanketed Yingtian Prefecture!

Terrified, Zhu Yuanzhang spared Lin Chen’s life, but exiled him to the miasma-ridden lands of the south.

He thought it was all a coincidence, until months later, when a northern drought sent locusts blotting out the sky, the Great Ming treasury ran dry, and several princes died one after another...

When Zhu Yuanzhang, gravely ill and barely able to stand, traveled thousands of miles to Lin Chen’s place of exile to beg him to “take back his divine powers,” he found a sun-never-setting empire of towering buildings and formidable warships and cannons!

Seated on a throne of pure gold, Lin Chen looked down at him. “Zhu Chongba, you can’t take it anymore? The reckoning has only just begun!”
