Ultraman: I Am Humanity's Last Hope

After transmigrating as Masaki Keigo, the protagonist thinks he has the script in hand. He may not be able to do whatever he wants, but surely his knowledge of the Giants of Light will at least help him thrive.

Reality, however, hits him hard.

There is no Tiga in this world. No light, and no giant who will come to save humanity.

The prelude to despair begins amid the thunderous arrival of monsters.

The space monster Moruroa, capable of blotting out the sun and plunging the entire world into endless night.

The higher-dimensional predator Bogar, whose gaping dimensional maw can devour everything without end.

And the volcanic monster Bird Barton, which brings apocalyptic gales and flames that set even the sky ablaze...

Human technology is nothing but toys before them, and even artillery cannot leave a scratch.

Entire armies are wiped out, cities become scorched earth in a single day, and the sparks of civilization teeter on the brink amid raging storms.

The apocalyptic atmosphere, thick with blood and gunpowder, is something no one could ever experience in front of a screen. It convinces Masaki Keigo that humanity is already standing at the edge of extinction.

If this world has no light, then... I will become humanity’s last hope.

He sets the mad artificial monster project in motion.

Through countless sleepless nights, he dissects monster remains, creating weapons of slaughter from the flesh and technology of countless monsters.

At the final moment, just as human civilization is about to be erased, Masaki stands amid mountains of monster corpses, piecing their severed limbs together with his own hands.

As the hideous subterranean shark Geozark bursts from the earth, I announce to the world:

“If there is no light, then I’ll use monster bones to carve a bloody path for humanity!”
