Guanyang was an oddity from the moment he was born. He grew up in Huanggang Village, a place that didn't even exist on Qian Du Maps.
On the night of his nineteenth birthday, the Hell Apartment sent him a white letter and pulled him into a supernatural instance.
To his surprise, the supernatural beings and ghosts were completely different.
They were products of entirely different sets of rules.
In the instances, the terrifying entities everyone else steered clear of were things he could bundle up with a casual wave of his hand.
In one instance, he met a soul-reaping envoy from the underworld and discovered that the underworld's soul-reaping department was falling short of its quotas.
To boost their numbers, they counted not only the entities in the supernatural instances as achievements, but also rounded up every Exorcist and Ghost Tamer who entered the instances from the human world, sent them to the underworld, and put them to death.
Only later did he learn that World No. 36 was beyond the underworld's jurisdiction.
The underworld's officials confronted Guanyang the moment they saw him:
