[Strong, unyielding older sister Liu Linzhao x smiling assassin younger brother Cui Wangjing]
[Older woman-younger man romance x both virgins x BE x mildly coercive romance]
Liu Linzhao was the legitimate daughter of the prime minister, clever and quick-witted, bold and resilient. But when she was nineteen, disaster struck her household. Her father was executed, and she was sent to the palace as a servant along with the other women in her family. By chance, she met someone in the palace whom she had humiliated years earlier. He was now a general whom the emperor had personally appointed as the Mighty-Prestige General. Worse still, Liu Linzhao didn't recognize the man she had once humiliated. Cui Wangjing's kindness and attentiveness gave her wandering heart a place to settle. As she basked in their sweet romance, she failed to notice the wicked smile tugging at his lips.
