I followed it from the first chapter to the latest chapter in one go. Let me be honest first: this book almost put me off by the end of the first chapter.

It's because the "male-to-female" setting made me instinctively alert—I was afraid that it would be the kind of side story with a sci-fi flair, or that the protagonist would gradually become "feminine" after the transformation and start to develop some sticky emotional lines.
