I Refine Ten Thousand Souls in Tokyo, and You Call Me a Good Samaritan?

In the age of spiritual decline on Blue Star, spiritual energy has withered. I happen upon the Heavenly Demon Scripture, but to cultivate it, I must use flesh and blood and souls as fuel.

As a descendant of Yan and Huang, bound by the taboos of my bloodline, how could I harm my own people? So I set out for the land of my ancestors’ enemies: the Japanese invaders.

Here, I flay sinners and draw the bones from evil spirits, refining them into the forbidden demonic artifact known as the Banner of Ten Thousand Souls.

They call me the demon god who destroyed Kyoto, and howl in boundless terror.

But why does my Banner of Ten Thousand Souls blaze with golden light, like countless gods and Buddhas bestowing merit to protect the nation?

Years later, a special agency finds me and says respectfully, “Sir, the motherland needs you.”
