Reborn in the Spring and Autumn Period: I Became a Meteorologist

Lin Chuan, a modern weather forecaster, transmigrates to the late Spring and Autumn period after a bizarre red lightning strike, becoming a young woman living alone in Qin territory.

She discovers that her body no longer belongs to her, but she has gained a remarkable ability: sensing the weather and influencing wind and rain.

The villagers call her the “Cloud Master,” believing her to be a divine shaman who can summon wind and rain. But she alone knows that this is no supernatural power, but a pattern that can be understood and verified.

When Confucius passes through Qin territory with his disciples and sees her win everyone over with her precise forecasts, the wise man, now over fifty, invites her: “Come to Lu.”

In this golden age, when Laozi still lives and the Hundred Schools of Thought are just beginning to emerge, a soul from more than two thousand years in the future resolves to found an unprecedented school of thought:

The School of Meteorology.

“The workings of Heaven follow constant principles. They do not preserve themselves for Yao, nor perish for Jie. Govern in accordance with them, and all will be well; govern in defiance of them, and all will go awry.”
