Good news: The consciousness of the Great Universe thinks the balance between light and darkness is off, and the universe is doomed!
Bad news: Its solution is to give the Dark Ring a mind of its own!
Even worse news: The first person this newly sentient ring seeks out is White Belial!
“Belial, your mission is to bring forth more darkness and beat up every last light!”
Belial fell silent for three seconds.
“...Are you sure you’ve got the right person?”
The Dark Ring let out a cold laugh.
“I’m sure. You can refuse, but the universe will be destroyed, and we’ll all go down together!”
“By the way, do you know that in your original fate, Reiblood possessed you, the Land of Light exiled you, and you turned black, only to get beaten up by Seven’s son over and over?”
White Belial: “...?”
“Want to see the original plotline? Crystal-clear quality, guaranteed authentic.”
“Shut up. I’ll do it.”
And so White Belial gripped the Dark Ring tightly and set out on a path no one could understand.
Seven? Fight him!
Taro? Fight him!
The Land of Light? He’d turn against it sooner or later.
Dyna, Gaia, Cosmos: none of them would get away.
Let alone Saga, The Origin Saga, Ginga, X, Orb...
The Crisis on Infinite Earths, or Geed...
Not to mention Taiga, the Galaxy Wars, and Z...
He would become the final boss bearing every sin.
And the ones he had to save were none other than the universe that had never understood him.
The Dark Ring had this to say: “Have you hit today’s KPI yet, Belial? Say something!”
