In her last life, Qian Suiling was a thoroughly foolish beauty: greedy, selfish, timid, and always making a fuss.
She took in Lu Shiyan, the young heir who had lost his memory in a car accident, and lied that she was his girlfriend. Taking advantage of his amnesia, she beat and berated him as she pleased, calmly draining him of every ounce of affection and trust.
She thought that once Lu Shiyan regained his identity, she could take a check, walk away unscathed, and head overseas in style. Instead, his fiancée sent her straight to hell, and she died miserably in the mud.
Reborn in a single moment, she returns to the time when her lie has yet to be exposed and Lu Shiyan is still by her side.
Qian Suiling has a complete change of heart. Knowing she cannot afford to provoke this obsessive, ruthless heir, she only wants to keep her head down, behave herself, and ingratiate herself with him. She’ll wait quietly until he is reunited with his family, then take her compensation and run.
But fate has other plans. An accident involving a vase striking her head sends her right back to square one.
All the hard-won sense that kept her alive after being reborn disappears. She loses her memory again and turns back into the spoiled, overbearing young lady she once was.
Looking at the poor man before her, so meek and patient that he lets her order him around, Qian Suiling slips right back into her old ways. She curses him and hits him, keeping him under her thumb and ordering him about as she pleases.
But she has no idea that the man silently indulging her has already recovered some of his memories.
He remembers how ruthlessly she walked away in his past life, how cruel and overbearing she used to be, and, above all, the obsession he buried deep in his heart, so intense it consumed him.
As he looks at the young woman who has once again become spoiled and willful, a dark light settles in Lu Shiyan’s eyes. His gentleness is only a disguise.
Since she has fallen into his arms once more,
this time, his star won’t be going anywhere.
The first few chapters seemed okay, but from chapter 29 onwards it was very confusing, and each chapter was incoherent. It felt like the author was writing whatever he thought of, and the writing was inexplicable.
