Synopsis of the novel "The Bells on the Wall"
In the mid-1990s, a talented young division-level cadre offended some vested interests by upholding justice in a project construction bidding process. He was maliciously framed as an "economic crime" and was unjustly imprisoned. Within the high walls of the detention center, the harsh environment and the unexplainable grievances weighed on him like two mountains.
