Naruto: From the Start, I Awakened a Sage Body and Dominate the Shinobi World

Hozuki Zangetsu planted his foot on a crack in the turtle's shell and ground it down hard.

The seventh piece of shell broke off, and a cloud of blood exploded into the air.

Through its chakra sense, the ninja turtle could feel the chains draining its life force, siphoning away three percent of its chakra every second.

It would die in thirteen seconds.

The ninja turtle did not roar.

With its last remaining right foreleg, it grabbed the chain and injected Lightning Release Chakra into it in reverse.

Boom!

The chain exploded, and Hozuki Zangetsu was thrown back three steps.

“You...”

The ninja turtle raised its head.

The torrential rain washed over its shattered shell, revealing newly formed dark golden markings beneath, the sign of an awakening at the brink of death.

“Had enough?”

The ninja turtle's voice was hoarse. “My turn.”
