In a cyberpunk base beneath the polar ice, human liaison Situ Liang Zichen is responsible for cultural relations with the alien civilization known as the Dreamweavers. He discovers that they are infiltrating his mind under the guise of love, while the base leadership turns a blind eye to this dangerous romance. Then, in fragments of the Dreamweavers’ memories, he sees the outline of Shangguan Yangyao, his lover who vanished many years ago.
