I’m Zhao Shengqian, a good-for-nothing.
All I wanted was to be a forest ranger deep in the mountains and live out my days in peace.
But who could have guessed that when I lay down in my cabin, a horsefly bigger than my fist would land on my face and take a big gulp of blood? Then some kind of System popped up, announced that I’d become a vampire, and, without asking me, saddled me with a huge loan to install some plugins, telling me to work and pay it back.
I had no choice. The System installed something in my brain, and I could no longer lie flat with a clear conscience.
So off I went, to see the sights in other worlds and pay off this enormous debt while I was at it.
But why is there a little girl by my side now?
Wait, she says she transformed from that horsefly just now.
Fine. For the sake of the world’s safety, I’ll take this little girl with me for now.
We’ve got a problem, guys.
Why are there suddenly so many women in my forest ranger cabin?
There’s a nano-mecha girl, a magical girl, an empress, a courtesan, and what the heck is an insectoid queen doing here?
Good grief!
Why can every single one of them threaten the Earth?
For humanity, for the world!
I have no choice but to bravely guard this forest ranger cabin all by myself, keeping these disasters from reaching the rest of the world!
