Random novel
The signal in the subway corridor was as bad as shit. I stared at the loading icon spinning on the screen of my phone, and my patience was worn away bit by bit.
At 9:30 in the morning, it was just after the morning rush hour on Line 3, and there were still scattered seats in the carriages. I leaned in the corner next to the car door, with my backpack hanging on my chest, and used my body to create a small space that was barely enough for me to check my phone. After two trips to the transfer station, the signal completely stopped, WeChat messages could not be sent, and even the news could not be refreshed.
I swiped the screen boredly, and my eyes fell on the "random novel" recommendation that came with the system.
Normally I never touch this stuff. For Internet articles, you can guess the ending just by looking at the beginning. It's nothing more than a loser's counterattack, surrounded by beautiful women, and slapped in the face to show off. But today is really boring. All the apps that can be opened on the phone show that there is no network connection, and only this recommendation page is cached.
I opened the first one casually.
The title of the book is "Picked Up a Scratch-Off", and the cover is shabby. At first glance, it looks like the kind of routine and cool writing. I scrolled down two pages, and the first sentence of the text read——
"Song Mo picked up a scratch-off ticket on the subway and won five million with one scratch."
