The story takes place in the "Time Abyss Realm" where time is disordered and the way of heaven is damaged. The protagonist, Pi Yu, was originally the main soul in the ancient demon king "Ten Thousand Souls Banner". Because the banner's body was accidentally damaged, he escaped with the memories and obsessions of thousands of resentful souls in the banner, and parasitized the body of a recently deceased young man. He is burdened with the heavy cause and effect of transforming thousands of souls, and in order to seek the method of salvation, he embarks on a unique path of cultivating immortality. He practiced the "Cause and Creation Sutra", which can sort out cause and effect and create creatures, and by chance, he awakened the thin bloodline of the "Time Patrolling Demon", and was able to initially perceive and use time gaps.
