Others who become Wu Sangui either shave their heads and wear queues, earning eternal infamy, or die in defeat with their entire families executed.
I become Wu Sangui, and my first move is to drive Dorgon back beyond Shanhai Pass!
With complete knowledge of history awakened within me, I know the outcome of every battle and the fate of every person.
I make my name at Shanhai Pass, shattering the Eight Banners’ backbone.
I recruit Chen Zilong and Zheng Chenggong, assembling the ultimate anti-Qing alliance!
I intercept Dorgon’s three ships loaded with Western firearms and use his own guns against his men.
The Yangzhou Massacre and the Jiading Massacres?
Not while I’m here!
The regrets recorded in history books, the heroes who never met a good end.
Chongzhen on Coal Hill, the loyal souls of Songjiang, the flames of war in Yangzhou.
This time, I, Wu Sangui, will bring them home.
Standing atop the walls of Shanhai Pass, I gaze down at the vast ranks of Eight Banners cavalry below.
I know that from this moment on, history will be rewritten completely.
