Zhao Gou: My Supplies Keep Growing Instead of Shrinking

The first day of the fifth month, in the second year of Jingkang.

Zhao Gou opens his eyes in the back hall of the Yingtian Prefecture government office.

It feels as though someone has poured a bucket of ice water into his brain. Two sets of memories collide wildly: one belongs to a Song prince just scared out of his wits by the Jin; the other to a hedge fund manager who spent fifteen years making his way on Wall Street.

It takes him two seconds to assess his situation.

In the first second, he realizes he has transmigrated.

In the second, he realizes there’s no money in his account.
