Jiangnan Drizzle Falls Beyond the Palace Walls

Synopsis

I am Shen Qingyi, the daughter of a Jiangnan silk-weaving family, and I was born with the ability to hear the secrets buried in people's hearts.

Before entering the palace, I thought it was merely an annoying gift. After I entered, I learned it was my only bargaining chip for staying alive.

My "Battle-Breaking Dance," a fusion of Western jazz, left the emperor astonished and made me a target for the entire harem. Noble Lady Li's false accusations, Consort Xian's hidden attacks, the empress dowager's murderous plot, concealed for forty years... Everyone wants me dead.

But they don't know that I can hear their schemes, and I can also hear the deepest loneliness in the heart of the Son of Heaven.

Mind reading is a curse, but also a blade for striking back.

This is a tale of turning the tables by fighting my way out with wit and dance. Within the palace walls, I don't compete for favor. I seek only the truth.

And... that man's true heart.
