Transmigrated into Siheyuan: I Get a Free Interstellar Mothership

From the start, it is 1960, and heavy snow is falling. The original owner is starving and on the verge of death, but Jia Zhangshi and Banggeng steal the last half of his cornmeal bun. Yi Zhonghai stands by and tries to guilt-trip him: “Xiao Zhang, you’re young and can handle hunger. Think of that half a bun as a way of respecting your elders and caring for the young.” The protagonist sneers. “You stole the food keeping me alive? I’ll make you pay it back with interest. By tomorrow morning, your whole family will be left out in the cold!”

At death’s door, the protagonist binds himself to a “Level Four Interstellar Mothership.” The mothership is damaged, but its core “spatial tractor beam” is intact. As long as he has coordinates, he can get anything for “free”! The System prompts him: “Thirty jin of flour and five jin of cured meat detected in the Jia family’s cellar. Activate the tractor beam?”

The protagonist presses the button without hesitation. The next day, Jia Zhangshi wails over the empty cellar, while the retirement savings Yi Zhonghai hid under his bed have vanished into thin air, too. Meanwhile, the protagonist enjoys hot pot and sings in the mothership’s ecological bay, casually aiming the tractor beam at a massive grain depot belonging to hostile forces overseas.

From hidden cash in the courtyard to cutting-edge equipment from overseas corporations, the protagonist takes his mothership on a spree of “free shopping.” While the courtyard’s vermin grow gaunt with hunger, he has already helped make his country strong and prosperous, leading the Chinese fleet to sweep across the stars!
