I Slapped a Vengeful Ghost from the Start

Gou Shengzi had a drink, then slapped the evil ghost Zhang Fugui so hard he saw stars.

The evil ghost dropped to his knees. "You're just a mortal! How can you hurt me?!"

Gou Shengzi followed up with a flurry of wild punches. "I'll beat up any ghost I damn well please!"

Then the jade pendant shattered, and two figures drifted out from inside it...

The evil ghost was so scared he wet himself on the spot. "The Northern Peak Warden?! Madam Purging Evil?!"

Gou Shengzi was stunned. His farming parents were actually hidden big shots?

From then on, he became a guardian of the ley line. His only concern was: Does this job come with social insurance and a housing fund?
