A Night That Nearly Became the Whole Dorm's Nightmare

The Protagonist Is Nonhuman, Does Not Fawn Over Humans, Is Not a Monkey or Ape, and Does Not Become Human

Looking for books like Seer: The Three Holy Spirit Phantoms. Anything goes, dragons, machines, and so on. No monkeys or apes, no turning human later, and no outside incarnations. Especially no monkeys or apes, and no turning human. I can reluctantly accept other things, and I might tolerate turning human later on, too.
