This novel tells the stories of the many unresolved regrets in Water Margin. Lin Chong, Wu Song, Song Jiang, and the others start at Zengtou City, where Chao Gai leads the Liangshan heroes once more to uphold Heaven’s will and champion justice. Later, they ally with Fang La and launch a rebellion. First they defeat Gao Qiu, who is killed by a single shot from Lin Chong. Then they defeat corrupt officials like Cai Jing. At last, they overthrow the imperial court. The story only gets more exciting from there.
